The Joplin Inn, formerly the Colonial Motel, is located just 2 1/2 miles from the shores of Lake Ouachita. The newly remodeled property, now under new management, has 10 guest rooms, one suite and one two bedroom house - all with new carpeting, new bedding, new flat screen TV's. The rooms have mini-fridges, microwaves and coffee makers and the suite and house have fully equipped kitchens. Plans are underway to develop the scenic back of the property so guests will have access to an outdoor recreation and picnic area. Guests of this property have full access to the adjacent Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa.
