Dear Guests, Welcome to our Region, welcome at the Hotel & Restaurant Rheingold! The Rheingold was already founded in 1908 by Fritz Andres, who delivered at that time supplies for Provision Boats. Jean Andres overtook Rheingold and a opened butchery and a food business. Then he opened a restaurant directly on the Rhein River. Very often on Sundays some dancing festivals took place here. Hans Andres continues up to day to operate the Restaurant in the fourth generation. Along with his Family he successfully combines old Tradition with the modern way. Today Rheingold is an idyllic place directly on the harbour of Gernsheim, where you not only can enjoy eating but also a magnificent scenery. The outstanding events, the Beer garden, the cooking workshop and the daily homemade ice-cream make the Rheingold a treasure of the extra ordinary to be discovered. Enjoy a restful time as our guest.
