Welcome to our hotel gem by the bay! Angvik Gamle Handelssted is located in the village of Angvik, by the Tingvollfjord in Nordmore. The place has roots back to the 1500's when sailing ships from Holland anchored up in the bay to buy timber. Angvik Handelssted was managed by John and Gurianna Angvik who got 14 children, where 12 of them started their own businesses, with it's roots in Angvik. A unique family saga started, and the family is still engaged in operations, now in 5th generation. Today, the hotel is fully restored with high and a distinctive standard. In a traditional Norwegian cabin from the 1700's, you experience one of Norway's finest spa, in addition we have our own museum and art gallery. Our cuisine serves local ingredients with a international touch. In elegant surroundings we invita to a great and real experience. Several fireplaces, unique atmosphere and exquisite food is some of our key adventures. The hotel has 37 rooms, and banquet facilities to approximately 100 people.
