Strandhotel Schmerikon

The Strand hotel in Schmerikon is located in a fantastic location directly on Lake Zurich. The accommodations has its own small beach, which is reserved for hotel guests only. All rooms have a view of the lake. The Bungalow Suites and the Deluxe Apartment have an outdoor seating area with sunbathing deck or balcony. In the restaurant, we serve our guests a breakfast buffet with fine, fresh products from the region. The restaurant and lakeside terrace are open to the public throughout the day. We serve lunch and dinner.

Please note that the photos are only examples of a specific room type. Actual rooms might be decorated differently and there is no guarantee that you will be accommodated in exactly the same room. During our company holidays from January 20th to February 19th, 2025, we will only serve a small breakfast with croissants and coffee. Please note that pets are only allowed upon request and subject to approval. Please note that pets are only allowed in the following room types: junior suite, Deluxe Bungalow and Classic Double room. During our restaurant's holiday closure from January 5th, 2026 to February 17th, 2026, we will only be offering rooms with breakfast.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance.
